Acquired as :
Acute leukaemia, aplastic anaemia, chronic myelogenous leukaemia (accelerated phase or blast crises), hodgkin's disease , multiple myeloma, myelodysplasia , non-hodgkin's lymphoma, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinurua (PNH) and servere aplasia radiation poisoning .
Congenital as:
Adrenoleukodystrophy, hurler syndrine, kostmann syndrome, drabbe disesase, metachromatic leukodystrophy, hemophagocytic lymphohisocytosis (Hlh), wiskot aldricj syndrome and some inborn errors of metabolism .(Anoje,2006).
